How the Oliver James Lilos Warranty Works
Our Product Warranty, and How It Helps You
Once you receive your Oliver James Lilos Single, Double, Ring or Hammock, our warranty begins. For Gen I Lilos, that warranty gives full coverage against defect or product failure for a period of one year. For Gen II Lilos, the warranty period extends to three years from the day the delivery is received.
Each Lilo is the result of years of refinement, development, discovery, and learning. The inflatable LiloCore is highly resistant to punctures, making use of the highest-grade TPU film and patented Y-beam construction for increased durability, comfort and stability over PVC. The upholstered LiloCover is constructed using 100% Solution-dyed Acrylic and marine-grade hardware, the same quality and durability of materials as used in yachting. With all these considered decisions going into crafting an Oliver James Lilo, we are confident that each float will last for many summers to come.
If for any reason the float doesn't perform as expected, the warranty is our way of making this up to you.
What's Covered by the Warranty?
The warranty covers any and all defects in materials, construction, or workmanship. If something comes unstitched, falls off, changes colour, or doesn't function how it is supposed to, that will be covered.
Normal wear and tear is expected, and normal. Sometimes this is more than expected, and may be covered if it indicates an issue with the way the Lilo was constructed.
How Does the Warranty Help?
If you have an issue with your Lilo covered by the warranty, we will either repair it, replace the part, or replace the whole Lilo, free of charge. We will determine the best course of action as part of the warranty process, and do everything we can to get you up and floating as soon as possible.
In some cases, the original part or material is no longer stocked by Oliver James Lilos. In those cases, we replace them with equivalent parts.
What Does the Warranty not Cover?
This warranty doesn't cover problems caused by misuse, deliberate damage, or improper storage.
No matter what potential problem you may be facing, or whether you think it is covered or not, we want to hear about it. Your experience and insight helps us to improve our products and processes, and is valuable to us. Plus, we pride ourselves on being helpful.

To initiate the warranty process, contact us. Send photos, videos, notes, observations, and as much information as you can think to include.
Once we receive your message, we will open a case and determine the right service for you, whether that is a repair, a replacement, or a different solution.
