Luxury pool float brand Oliver James Lilos is proud to announce its collaboration with luxury ski brand Perfect Moment to introduce a limited edition Hammock Lilo and Double Lilo. Crafted with the finest materials and impeccable design, these exclusive pieces will make their debut on June 1st at Miami Pool House, Soho House, coinciding with the commencement of Miami Swim Week.
Perfect Moment, known for its exceptional winter collections, enters into the realm of poolside luxury with Oliver James Lilos in this groundbreaking transition. Recognised worldwide for its unparalleled ski wear, Perfect Moment's foray into swimwear marks a significant expansion for the brand.
In collaboration with our esteemed supplier, Sunbrella, we meticulously sourced bespoke fabrics tailored for this unique project. Each piece was selected to ensure the highest quality and to perfectly complement Perfect Moment’s new collection.
The custom embroidery process was a labor of love, involving careful planning and precision. We explored over seven variations, making subtle adjustments to the color palettes until we achieved the perfect harmony. One of the standout features is the intricate appliqué, designed to add a dynamic flair. We opted for a design where stars gracefully traverse across three panels and underneath the piping, adding a touch of elegance and movement to the final product.
Achieving the exact composition of Perfect Moment’s appliqué required meticulous attention to detail. Ensuring the lettering maintained the same distance and shape was paramount.
To achieve this, we created custom molds for consistency, and each letter was laser cut to guarantee precise accuracy. This method ensured that every piece mirrored Perfect Moment’s standards, showcasing our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the design.
With 15 individual appliqués per product and two distinct shapes, the sewing process was both time-consuming and laborious. We selected only the best sewers for this intricate task, each dedicating over three hours per Lilo to ensure perfection.
